10 of the world's best amateur riders arrive at Big White and are welcomed into their new home: the Pinkbike Academy House. Hosts, judges, athletes and sponsors are introduced. Each contestant is issued a new top-of-the-line bike from our sponsors, they meet their fellow contestants, and are told what will be expected of them as they pursue the top prize. Their first challenge? Under the pressure of competitive timing, they must display their grease monkey-prowess by fixing a litany of unknown technical problems on their bikes common to enduro mountain bike racing.
