After his release from prison, the ex-convict Arnold Feldmann, nicknamed Nolle, goes back to his old ways. He and fellow ex-con, truck driver Udo Walter, are planning a major heist. Udo hasn't told his girlfriend about his criminal past and is constantly afraid that Nolle might tell her the truth. Nolle has his buddy completely under his thumb and doesn't hesitate to ruthlessly exploit this dependence at the crucial moments.
