Hans Mutosch has invested all his energy and time in building his house over the past few years. Only the greenhouse for his stepdaughter Heike isn't finished yet. Therefore, Hans once again doesn't have time to go on vacation with his wife. Elke Mutosch travels alone, as she has in recent years. Hans and Heike stay home and work on the greenhouse. They are happy when they can finally inaugurate it, but the fact that Elke should have been back days ago dampens their joy.
