Teruyuki and his ambulance team are dispatched to the river to rescue a teenager from drowning. While giving CPR to the victim, Teruyuki notices a second boy nearby watching them, but the boy runs away before Teruyuki can speak to him. The incident forces Teruyuki to revisit a traumatic event from his own childhood, thirty years before.
