A girl suffering abuse at the hands of her adoptive father dies after being rushed to hospital. Outraged, Teruyuki strikes the girl’s abuser and is arrested and put on indefinite administrative leave. Later he is called to the deathbed of his master’s close friend but struggles with feelings of helplessness as both a doctor and a priest.
