Episode 1After having a stroke the comedian Bjarte Tjøstheim has gained a new perspective on life, and with a priest shortage in Oslo the bishop appoints him as a substitute priest in Maridalen church.

Episode 2Bjarte will hold its first worship service and he has a lot to prove. By chance encounters Bjarte meet his old friend Bjørn Eidsvåg, and hope he can help to impress the congregation. In NRK Radioresepsjonen Bjarte is replaced with Kim Haugen, and Bjarte feel jealous.

Episode 3Bjarte will hold their first baptism, but encounter challenges when dåpsforeldrene will make the ceremony a viral hit on YouTube. At home, Tore and Live's dog have broken the glasses of Kristin, and there is a struggle between conflict-shy men and confrontational women.

Episode 4Bjarte must go with his first death message, but perhaps not quite as clearly as he should. By a misunderstanding ends Bjarte up buying an overly expensive birthday present for Kristin, and on top of it all you will find Bjarte blood on toilet paper and panics.

Episode 5Bjarte will hold its first wedding, where it turns out that there are two women who are getting married. Margit protests and there will be a fight in the church. Bjarte meetings at some asylum seekers who he lets move in, which is a bit much for Kristin. At the same time feel Bjarte that he loses Tore and Steinar to Kim Haugen.

Episode 6Bjarte being offered a permanent position in the church while Radioresepsjonen want him back again. Bjarte must make a choice. But first and foremost he must win back Kristin.
