Everything was at stake for USA, Panama, Honduras and even Mexico who was trying to maintain their undefeated streak. Mexico went through. Panama made history making it to their first FIFA World Cup. USA was eliminated when Trinidad and Tobago defeated them 2-1 at the Ato Boldon Stadium, getting revenge for doing the same to them back in 1989.
