Our new host, AJ, will start this year off with a look back at our favs. Next, we’re going to revisit the University of Florida…and find out why the students say “It’s great to be a Florida Gator!” Then it’s off to the cruise ship Carley boarded, where we’ll bring you our interview with the Cruise Director who told us about all the activities and jobs available onboard. Episode 2First up, our new segment host, Krystal is going to visit a TV newsroom and find out if there is more to being a TV anchor than just looking good on camera and reading the news. Then, Shawn, our returning host from a few seasons ago, will sit down with a lady who turned a passion for bath and body products into a business selling handmade creations. Then Shawn learns how pollutants we dump in our yards, drains and the waters around us can really mess up our lakes and rivers, and even determine which bugs and critters live there. Episode 5Shawn meets a midwife who is an outspoken advocate for women with the belief that every woman should have the opportunity for a healthy pregnancy and birth. Then it’s off to a yoga class where Krystal learns how yoga is viewed not only as a form of exercise or meditation, but as a way of life. And did your Mom tell you not to draw on the walls? Well, the time has come and you’ll see for yourself when Krystal meets a Virtual School Teacher. Then Shawn visits the classroom of a special education teacher and learn why she has chosen this education specialty. Then, Shawn will sit down at the piano and learn some of the skills and techniques involved in being a piano technician. Episode 11Today, Shawn’s going to meet the head honcho of one of the not-for-profit organizations that puts on a couple of those great college bowl games. Did you ever wonder what it would be like to lose a limb? Krystal will talk to a man who lost his leg when he was a child. He went on to help others in his same situation as an orthotist prosthetist. Then, Shawn’s visits the shop of his neighborhood shoe repairman and gets a peak into how those shoes and bags come back looking new again. - Episode 12E12

Krystal gets an idea when she speaks with a United States Secret Service Agent. Then you’ll find out about what it takes to be a TV cameraman, when you meet Shawn, our wonderful and talented Real Life 101 Director of Photography. You may not realize it, but there’s a lot that goes into planning for a city’s building and expansion. Episode 13In our first segment, Shawn will do a little investigating into the career of a private eye and find out some of the intrigue into this legendary profession. Then Krystal will meet up with an old time butcher where she’ll see how he prepares the best cuts of meats for his customers. Episode 14Today, Krystal is going to visit a dental lab and learn how they make all those crowns, bridges and other things dentists implant into your mouth. Then Shawn trades in his jeans for a suit when a Communications Director from a major retail store teaches him how to dress for a job interview. Episode 15Do you ever hear on the news that there are pollutants in the air or the pollen count is high? Shawn is going to check out an air quality monitoring station and find out where these reports come from. Then Krystal will meet with a CPA who digs deep into the financial records of some of those big companies out there, not only to keep them honest but to assist them in other business matters. And Shawn will make a hospital visit to speak with a medical surgical nurse and find out how she cares for patients in this fast paced, challenging and gratifying profession. - Episode 16E16
Episode 16Krystal will start us off on a lake where she sees how environmental biologists work to keep the lake clear of pollutants that attract plant and animal life that hurt the water. Then, Shawn will meet an artist who has found her niche creating beautiful silk scarf creations. Episode 17Do you like going to the park and even getting involved in some of the activities your city has to offer. Krystal will meet up with a Director of a Parks and Recreation Department and get a glimpse into running the fun! Then Shawn will show you a type of nursing where you get to travel to patients’ residences and provide care in the comfort of their home when he sits down and talks with a home health care nurse. Episode 18Today, Shawn will visit a medical imaging facility and meet with an MRI Technologist who uses latest advances in technology to conduct MRIs on patients. And Krystal will talk to a building inspector and learn what he does to make sure buildings pass inspection and are safe for people to be in. Then Shawn will meet a court reporter and see how this career has evolved to keep up with the electronic age. And with our population becoming increasingly thick around the middle, weight loss is a huge business. Krystal will meet the “Zingmaster” who leads the fun and magic within the circus. Then Shawn will witness as Dustin, the Boss Clown transform himself into character and talks about life as the head of Clown Alley. Plus, Krystal will chat with the Talent Manager who tells her about circus careers and how he travels the globe searching for the next great circus act. - Episode 22E22
Episode 22Today, we’re going to keep the fun going with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus! What’s a circus without dogs doing stunts and tricks! We’ll start by watching the dog trainer teach Shawn some techniques in training the rescue dogs that call the circus their home. Then Krystal will attempt to interview one of the clowns who is a member of Clown Alley at the circus. Does he ever have fun with her! Plus, Shawn will chat with a talented dancer who has many jobs at the circus, including performing as a aerialist, a dancer, a cheerleader and even rides the elephants at the circus.
