Climbing wide cracks is a brutish and peculiarly American pursuit, practiced by a small band of burly misfits. Now two Englishmen, Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker, are on a mission to master this bizarre form of climbing. After two years of compulsive training in their tiny cellar, the underdogs travel to The States to do battle with the hardest "offwidth" climbs.
