Jess finds himself in mythical, ancient time, encountering the Mali and the Dujane who have been at war for generations. Farin has been appointed to negotiate a peace treaty. The two tribes agree to surrender the thing most valuable to them within 7 days. But revenge, fanatical tradition and reasons for war are never simple - and Jess finds himself entangled in the midst of it all.
