- Star Trek: Section 31
E1Star Trek: Section 31The ultimate cosmic confusion has set in for these two Graveyard Grandpas™ as they watch the newest “Star Trek” “Movie” Star Trek: Section 31. A flop years in the making costing Paramount Plus hundreds of millions of dollars putting them nearly 900 billion dollars in debt. And also costing them the good will of zillions of fans (except for really really dumb ones) all for one man, Alex Trebek. So when Star Trek Discovery was first made. Michelle Yeoh plays a character called Phillip George. She was Bo Burnham’s Captain on the USS Shengie. Burnham screwed up. Georgie Plagu died. Then in the mirror verse, Shelly Burnham discovered Phillp's Georgous has a clone called Evil lady Empress. The leader of the evil Terran Umpire. That evil character would stick around and play games with yum yum girl, punching baddies and saying cool lines like, "wanna go make that man scream?" then I'm not sure what happened to her character? I think she few into Kurtzman’s space hole and went to the future. - Breakdown (1997)
E2Breakdown (1997)It's time to revisit forgotten movies from the 90s! Many would probably say that a movie like Breakdown starring Kurt Russell isn't all that forgotten compared to other forgotten 90s movies like Mercury Rising but whatever! It's just an excuse to talk about random crap. Give us a break. A breakdown even. - Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Part 2)
E4Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Part 2)Rich has always been salty at Mike for not included him in his original review of Star Trek The Motion picture with Canadian Clown™ Jimbo. Rich loves this movie so much he can barely remember anything about it and needs to be constantly reminded which scenes are which. However, after the release of the beautiful 4K restoration, Mike felt like revisiting this dusty old classic. He does so with minimal effort, examining all the changes to this film, while getting numerous things wrong and very little correct. It's time for the home! Rushed into theaters for no real reason in 1979. The film was not really done, but Shatner had rented a new toupee for the premiere and he needed to return it, so he insisted they rush out the print. Then in 1983 they made a longer 3 hour TV version for virgins to watch on the other network when the Super Bowl™ was on. Then in 2001 there was a directors cut supervised by Robert Wise himself! - Color of Night (1994)
E5Color of Night (1994)Out of our 1.57 million subscribers about 23 of them may have heard of the 1994 flop “Color of Night” starring Bruce Willis and others. Jay mistook this film for a different film and we both ended up watching it. A decision we will live to regret. But what about the 2 hours we both lost of our precious time on this Earth? Well butt-wads, we decided to do the review anyway! After all, this is a forgotten 90’s movie. It can also serve as a warning to others. When this movie came out no one liked it. Not even the director. Whose terrible idea was this film? So Bruce Willes stars as psychotherapist Bill Cappaba, and Scott Bakula stars as psychotherapist Joe Blobba. A gal stars as “Rose” aka Ritchie! NO! Not my Ritchie!! - Back to the Future
E6Back to the FutureGrape Scotch! It's a re:View of the 1985 classic Back to the Future starring Marty J. Fox and Christopher Blorb. We've referenced this movie so many times over the years that it may feel like we already did a re:View on it but we haven't! And since we've now reached the 40th anniversary of the film's original release, we decided to babble about it for a while. In Back to the Future Part II, they travel into the far distant future of October 21, 2015. In reality, 2015 was now 10 years ago. Time to roll into a grave. - Street Trash
E7Street TrashWhat's this? Jay is talking about another filthy garbage movie? What else is new? This time however, he is joined by Josh Robert Thompson, the world's foremost Street Trash expert. Together, they have the most thorough, thoughtful discussion of the underseen cult movie that anyone has ever had. Buckle up, prudes! - Ranking Every Joe Dante Movie Part 1
E8Ranking Every Joe Dante Movie Part 1You may know him as the director of Gremlins. Or perhaps you know him as the director of Gremlins 2. But Joe Dante has a diverse body of work and done many different movies at many different budget levels. Everything from low budget schlock to ...well, big budget schlock. Jay and Rich have once again watched every theatrical movie by a director so they can discuss and rank all of his movies. Last time it was John Carpenter, this time it's Joe Dante! - Ranking Every Joe Dante Movie Part 2
E9Ranking Every Joe Dante Movie Part 2The clowns are back! Small Soldiers, Innerspace (not INTERspace...thank you, autocorrect) and more are discussed in part 2 of this amazing series where two idiots babble on about some old movies that your grandparents may have told you about. Gremlins!
