Rick is in Pictou County, Nova Scotia where he assists felling a special Christmas tree that Halifax sends to Boston, Mass. every year as a 'thank you' for their help after the Halifax Explosion of 1917. Then he's off to the Long Point Bird Observatory in Port Rowan, ON where he helps trap, tag and release birds.
