On the way back to Proffesor IJzerdraedt, Rikkel Nikkel's leg-chain breaks, making him unable to walk. Kees goes on to the Professors house, but is tricked by a crafty thief. This thief has already managed to swipe Santa Claus' sack full of presents and now wants to get his hands on Ijzerdraedt's valuables.
