Season 1
Josip moved a long time ago from his birthplace on border of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to Zagreb (capital of Croatia) and works there as a police officer. His brother Frane stayed in place and always chose an easier way, even if it meant to cross on the other side of the law. Frane is married to Mara and has a daughter Josipa who he adores. When Josip's and Frane's mother dies, Josip deciedes to return to his birthplace so he could take care of his father. Already complicated relations in this family will become more complicated when a police investigation about smuggling across border puts two brothers on opposite sides.

Episode 1Josip's father is not happy about Josip returning to take care of him, convinced that help he gets from his younger sister Kata is enough. After transfer, Josip continues with police work of border control, with his new partner, young Dario who has troubles with his depressive mother. Josip's brother Frane has a coffee shop, which is controlled by his friend Anita, and he himself smuggles alcohol and cigarettes. He is also not happy with Josip returning, unlike his wife Mare who is glad about that. All that time nobody even doubts that Frane, together with two helpers, Luka and Damjan, just started to smuggle marijuana too. - Episode 2E2
