Jelle Brandt Corstius investigates how robots and artificial intelligence influence our lives and will change them even further. The speed of technological developments is exponential. What does that mean for us? Is there cause for fear or should we look to the future with anticipation? The point of departure is the birth of his daughter. In the series, Brandt Corstius follows her imaginary life cycle. Will she still have to work? Could she be dating a robot? What does the advance of robots mean for the way in which it forms its identity? And will artificial intelligence ultimately give her eternal life? To get answers to his questions, Brandt Corstius travels to Japan, Ethiopia and the United States, among other places, accompanied by a robot that in turn immerses itself in its environment.
