Robson's Extreme Fishing Challenge is a factual entertainment show broadcast on Channel 5 and a spin-off series to Extreme Fishing with Robson Green. The show sees actor and fishing enthusiast Robson Green travel around the world to some of the greatest fishing destinations, where he challenges local masters of their craft over five rounds of competitive fishing. For both series, the show has aired Mondays at 9pm on Channel 5.

BrazilRobson makes his way to Florianopolis near Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, where he fishes in the ocean before making his way inland to a tributary of the Amazon. After catching some catfish and the notorious vampire fish, he finishes the competition on Ipanema beach along the coast of the capital city.

USARobson makes his way to Michigan and Lake St Clair for his first battle against the world's greatest fishermen, facing off against a father-and-son team of expert muskie fishermen. He then makes his way to Detroit and Lake Huron and finishes this week's adventure by taking part in a professional fishing contest against 40 other anglers.

Peru

PeruRobson makes his way to Peru, where he faces a tough 4,000m ascent of the Andes mountains to meet a local village chief, who competes against him to catch some lake trout. He then travels 700 miles north to the village of Pimentel, where he takes on a group of reed canoe fishermen, before meeting his youngest opponent yet on the Amazon river.
