Rock Eisteddfod Challenge is a series of dance and drama events staged around Australia by school pupils as part of the Global Rock Challenge. It aims to promote healthy lifestyle choices, such as abstinence from alcohol, drugs and smoking. Organised with the co-operation of teachers and parents, each participating school is given 8 minutes to tell a story on stage, in the form of dancing and drama, with sets, costumes, and a pre-recorded soundtrack of contemporary music.
