Host Faruq Tauheed takes Mom and Son duo Sharee and Davone to a trip to Nashville Tennessee, where they learn that their 4xs great grandfather Larkin Ford, was a part of an 1840s landmark Tennessee case. Larkin was awarded the farm that he worked on as a slave. After winning the property Larkin went on to be a delegate in the Republican Party and helped elect African-American officials into Tennessee government.
