Saladin, in collaboration with Sultan Nureddin, orchestrates a plan to infiltrate Damascus and succeeds in opening its gates. Shirkuh, poised to attack, is thwarted by Mawdud, complicating Nureddin's position. With Karategin's timely assistance, Nureddin escapes from Bernard and the Crusaders.
