On the first day of the Bayside gang's senior year, Zack and Slater compete with each other over a pretty new transfer student from Idaho named Joanna. Their battle escalates to physical blows over who will take Joanna to the Seniors' Dance at the Max. Meanwhile, Lisa becomes smitten with a new student named Darren, not realizing that he is a freshman, while Mr. Belding tries to change his image by wearing a wig.
