Season 2

Tommy Saxondale is an ex-roadie with anger management issues and his own pest control business in Stevenage. Having survived a hostile divorce, Tommy now lives with his girlfriend Magz. Tommy regards himself as a maverick and free thinker and takes the opportunity to impart his wisdom to his naïve assistant Raymond.

    Episode 1Tommy tracks down an old friend, Malcolm "Rabies" Jessop (Simon Greenall) only to discover he now runs his own 'New Media' company and wears a suit. Tommy also revisits his past as a roadie by briefly stepping in to man the mixing desk of a Queen tribute band, only to discover that they too are far from the Rock'N'Roll spirit he used to know.

    Episode 2Tommy and Raymond go out shooting pigeons and save a man from committing suicide. However, as they try to change his outlook on life, Tommy believes something sinister is afoot, and his paranoia reaches a near-fatal conclusion in a karaoke club.

    Episode 3Tommy defends a group of local squatters against small-minded suburban prejudice. Neighbours Jonathan and Beverly are labeling the squatters as anti-social before they've even met them. The trouble is, Tommy hasn't actually met them either. After a visit to the squat he realises that sometimes small-minded prejudiced suburbanites can be right.

    Episode 4Tommy works at a nearby private boys' school, an institution he considers to be conformist and straight-laced. He gets invited to talk to the children about the pest control business. The kids appear more interested in his roadie work for the Floyd...and turn out to be more free-spirited than Tommy bargained for.

    Episode 5After refusing to pay an on-the-spot fine for having no train ticket Tommy appears in court where he chooses to defend himself. Despite his garrulous speeches to the jury,dubious jokes and having gay junkie Keanu and Magz's earnestly crusading friend Penny as his witnesses - or possibly because they have worn the judge down - the case is dismissed,which Tommy sees as a triumph for democracy.

    Episode 6Annoyed at Tommy's cynicism at Penny's 'Beyond Gender' art exhibition Magz books herself into a week long residential yoga course. Tommy is instantly jealous of her tutor Toby and goes to bizarre lengths to show his spiritual side - though they prove to be unnecessary,as does his claim that he is dying of cancer since Magz only has eyes for him.
