2021 • E21    May 21, 2021    1h 56m

Compared to the terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars), the gas giants are more massive and less dense. The largest of these is Jupiter, which has had a gigantic historical importance (excuse the pun) for the history of our knowledge of the Universe.
