Cultured meat is the new paradigm in food science that we are dealing with in this decade. Companies of various sizes, both start-ups and large food conglomerates, are investing millions of dollars in the first meat cultivation units around the world. The product, also called artificial, in vitro or synthetic meat, tends to solve many problems and risks in the animal protein chain or could it bring new ones? But what is this product anyway? Is there any risk in consuming this meat?
