Stuntman diver Tom Gale wants to make a name for himself by diving to 380 feet and setting the skin diving depth record. Mike tries to talk him out of risking his life with such a reckless grab at publicity, but gets nowhere. The young man is clearly being pressured into this by his father, a former athlete who's willing to risk his son's life for another record.
