A glamorous actress is murdered and a British national, who happens to work for MI9, is framed for her murder. Drake's task is to get him off the island using a submarine code-named Doris. The murdered woman was the mistress of leading general in the revolution who had her murdered. With the help of a local guide from the Ministry of Culture, Drake manages to evade the local authorities.
