In season 3 Belle is struggling with not only being Belle and Hannah but also with being a successful published author. She needs her clients to provide her with material for her new book so we see her have all sorts of experiences in the quest for ‘good material.’ Juggling three personas is hard enough, but when her sister Jackie arrives to stay out of the blue (her husband has had an affair) Belle’s life just gets even more complicated. We also introduce a new character – Duncan – Belle’s publisher. Duncan appears to be the archetypal English man – intelligent, restrained, mature – and Belle becomes very attracted to him. She believes this is a relationship which may work – after all, he knows all there is to know about her. But does she know all there is to know about Duncan?

Episode 2Belle tries to broaden Jackie's sexual horizons by taking her to a fetish club, with surprising results. Blocked in trying to write another book, Belle seeks support from her editor, Duncan.

Episode 3The sexual attraction between Belle and Duncan heats up over a late-night chat session, while Jackie wants her sister to accept that she and Ben are now a couple, and Bambi ignores Belle's warnings and falls for a handsome client.

Episode 4Belle entertains Des, a young man who loves to be covered in messy foodstuffs, not the most erotic subject for her next chapter, so she turns to Duncan for the real thing. Bambi tries in vain to reject an ardent Byron, who buys her a bicycle and proposes to her whilst Ben breaks things off with Jackie.

Episode 5Duncan tells Belle he is falling for her and comes on to her again but, visualizing regular client Al giving her advice, she puts him off, saying that escorts should not carry emotional baggage. So both she and Ben are amazed when Bambi and Byron announce their forthcoming marriage. Duncan persists in claiming that he can handle Belle's work if they become an item, so she finally gives in, even telling him her real name.

Episode 6Belle gives total satisfaction to Stuart,who enjoys their enacting a James Bond fantasy. However,on a date with Duncan,she sees Stuart with his wife and feels that Duncan speaking to him will lose her his custom. To make things worse Byron and Ben, both drunk, turn up and harass Duncan. As a result she tells Ben their friendship is over.

Episode 7Belle investigates the other side of the bed by hiring a male escort and experiencing the client point of view, but feels guilty about "cheating" on Duncan - whom she does not realize employed Bambi's services earlier in the evening.

Episode 8In the Season 3 finale, the secret tryst between Duncan and Bambi is revealed at the latter's wedding, leaving Belle heartbroken but providing fodder for her new book's final chapter. Ben reveals his true feelings at the eleventh hour.
