David invites his mother Maggie to attend the special mother's day for Amy, but grandma takes over everyone's lives, drawing all attention to herself. As Joe grows tired of her the busybody and she completely rewrites the script Kevin was to follow starring herself, David realizes what a dragon in law she always was for Amy and gathers courage to stand up to his maternal tyrant, who resorts to emotional blackmail after seemingly seeing the light.
