S10 • E90 Mar 30, 1979Big Bird, Bob, Gordon, Susan and some kids find that Hooper's Store is closed. Inside, they spot Mr. Hooper in an oversized gown and mortarboard practicing a speech. They deduce that he's completed his G.E.D. program and will be speaking at the graduation ceremony. They alert him of their presence and he sheepishly hides the outfit and speech. Mr. Hooper admits that his graduation ceremony is tonight and that he was first in his class. He pulls his speech from the wet rag he hid it under, making it illegible. Everyone agrees to help him out - Gordon and Bob will adjust his clothing, while Susan offers to type up his speech. A voiceover talks about three nice fruits - the peach, watermelon, and banana.
