He suspects a robber is in the store and calls the police. Two officers show up to catch the culprit, which turns out to be Maria, who also got in early to do some work. C is for clipper - and captain, crew, cargo, cookies, cantaloupe, cabbage, candy, cake, and corks that the crew eats (some by mistake).
