The book drips Doc and Yoyo on a small farm. There a mean billy goat is the farmer's darling, on whose account all three farm-boys have been chased. The duo sets out to find them, and brings them home. As craft apprentices in town, they each got a remarkable gift - a donkey who emits gold, a table which fills itself with rich meals, and a club which beats up villains. The first two get stolen, but are cleverly retrieved. Still, the triple prodigal return is quite eventful.
