Facundo confronts Verónica and demands to know if there’s something more going on between her and Joaquín. He also warns her that Joaquín is capable of taking Valeria away from her once the whole truth comes to light. Consuelo calls Verónica to tell her she’s face-to-face with Joaquín, who insists on confronting her about the story. Desperate, Verónica begs her to keep up the lie no matter what and continue pretending to be Verónica Arellano. Dany still believes his parents will return someday, but Valeria decides to tell him the truth. Unable to accept the loss, Dany covers his ears and runs off, clinging to the hope of seeing them again.
