Upon seeing “Consuelo,” she recognizes her immediately and recalls that, years ago, they met by chance at a convent during a reading course. However, Verónica does everything she can to prevent her true identity from being discovered. The motocross competition ends in controversy when Facundo manipulates the strategy to favor Eleazar. After discovering that Eleazar cheated to defeat Hugo, Valeria makes no secret of her disappointment and confronts him. Although she admits she’s in love with him, she makes it clear that his actions have changed the image she had of him. Desperate not to lose her, Eleazar confesses that only with her has he been able to show himself exactly as he is, without any pretense.
