In the early morning hours Ingo Meier is drunk taxi home. The pensioner Paul Baumgarten, who walks so early with his little dog, is mobbed by Ingo and rumgestoßen. A short time later Margot Baumgarten found her husband lying motionless in the corner of the house.

Initial investigations of the special commission found that Baumgarten was brutally kicked to death. In the survey of all residents Ingo Meier is defined by its indifference and arrogance. Hajo and his team determine that Meier has made them a misrepresentation and hold him fast for the only possible culprit.

Ironically, Dr. Shepherd, by Hajo is already often clashed, Meier is a lawyer. Between Hajo and Dr. Shepherd is a real duel, which is Dr. Schafer always manages to find loopholes in the chain of evidence for his client developed. Hajo feels an impotent rage. Did he perhaps even wrong track, as Dr. Shepherd accuses him? Hajo has only one witness, the neighbor Mechthild Zanger. But Ms. Zanger silent for fear even more so when she finds the doll her little daughter with sliced belly, a clear warning of the offender. If it is possible Hajo managed to convince Mrs Zanger, to make a statement?
