As the election draws closer, mud continues to fly in Emu Springs. Doug and Julia deftly play the political couple, while Joe and Sally get a bitter dose of being in the public eye. Much to Tom's bewilderment, Helen continues to act very strangely. He makes great efforts to connect with her but finds her behaviour is more and more erratic and alienating.
