Helen convinces Father Brian to return to Emu Springs but his reluctance to discuss his disappearance triggers mixed feelings among the locals, particularly Tom and Mon. Megan does her best to convince Father Brian to go public with a live interview while Tom throws himself into preparations for the new footy season with gusto. This inevitably brings him into conflict with Emus coach, Stuart, with dire consequences for both.
