Stage 01: Chaos AssaultWhile guarding the Master Emerald, Knuckles discovers that it contains a new creature, but before he realizes it, this new foe steals the Master Emerald and makes Angel Island to fall down of the sky. This new creature name is Nazo, an embodiment made of the negative components of the Chaos Emeralds, his plan is to steal all the Emeralds to become more powerful, but it's time for Sonic and his friend to stop him before it's to late.
