This two-part "soap bubble" shows Brookside characters Tracy Corkhill and Jamie Henderson in London looking for new opportunities "down south". It was shown as part of Thames Television's long-running schools and colleges series The English Programme and written especially for this series. Because it was transmitted on weekday mornings, and not promoted except to educational establishments, most Brookside viewers were unaware of its existence.
