    Doogie Shares DISTURBING ThoughtsDoogie gives Christine a wreath containing knives. He plays her guitar, sings a frightening song, then asks if she's seen his mother. Doogie says his mom has been gone for a day. Then he says the creepy dolls are going to kill Christine.

    Surprise Visit from Detective FrancisDetective Francis drops by. The police have tried to reach Carl, but he hasn't answered their calls. Carl apparently has a sealed record but does not seem to be on probation. The officer also notices the door to Christine's garage is ajar.

    Carl Is in BAD SHAPE!Christine finds Carl in her backyard shed. He went out for "a drink or two" last night, but has a bottle with him; he's embarrassed and apologetic. Carl dislikes the holidays; he reveals he lost his mother, a drug addict, when he was six.

    Carl Promises to Call DetectivesNext morning, Carl feels better and is still apologetic. Christine makes him promise to call the detectives back, as well as Mickey. He thinks the police should question Bryan.
