A holdup gang steals the car of Frank DeVol who is only concerned about getting the priceless Stradivarius violin that lay in the back seat of the car. The police, though, are just as interested in capturing the murderous robbers who used the popular bandleader's vehicle as a getaway car after a murderous holdup. Blake and Anderson persuade DeVol to use the missing violin as bait to lure the gang out of hiding.
