Poor Molly. Homesickness, eternal quarrels with Pixie, and the meanness of the sneaky little Jimmy have gradually driven Molly to despair. She borrows Captain Jack's horse and heads back home but on the way she encounters her classmate Louise whose unwitting advice turns her around. Pixie's friendship with Marguerite leaves Molly out in the cold and in cahoots with Louise on a misfiring practical joke.
