Sumit forgets to buy Jasbir a birthday present, so he decides to get him an aquarium, which tops Rajneesh's present of a remote controller. Initially Jasbir is thrilled with the gift, but he changes his mind after one of the fish dies. Maya thinks that it's because it reminds him of his own death, but Sumit later realizes that it was because of the cost of the fish and the aquarium.
