In a secret research facility in the middle of a swamp, Dr Alex Holland is working on an experiment to combine plant and animal DNA. Alice Cable has been sent by the government to help with security. The evil Dr Arcane sends some men to steal Dr Holland's secrets. This move causes an explosion in which Holland is transformed into a half man, half plant creature.
