Arcane makes a woman look like Holland's wife. He makes sure Holland a.k.a. Swamp Thing sees her. He approaches her and she runs away. He later tests her. She then asks him for his notes hoping it could help him. But Arcane is after one of his formulas. At the same time Holland recalls his last moments with his wife and moment when he became Swamp Thing because of Arcane.
