Master Richard helps a woman escape the clutches of Sir Daniel, but he manages to outwit the pair disguised as a blind leper and brings them back to his castle. He has plans to marry Richard to Mistress Sedley, but the Black Arrow has plans of his own, firing arrows bearing warning letters into the castle, one of which plans young Richard's escape.
