This season, we've got over 70 businesses gathering in Kansas City, Missouri, for a brutal 5-day test of their skill, wit, and startup grit. Every morning kicks off with an insightful and knowledge-packed class in entrepreneurship, and if you're here, then you get to learn right along with our contestants. After each lesson the real game begins as the contestants are given the day's challenge, which will help them apply what they learned to their individual businesses. Our Bloxers split into seven pods where they pitch their challenge answers to our judges. The contestants are ranked, and the top-scoring Bloxer from each pod will face-off in the evening's Blox-Off (more on that later). After the initial pitches, you get to witness the behind-the-scenes magic of the consults as the contestants chat with the judges and ideas start generating like crazy. Now, when the sun goes down, so does the Blox Off, where the cream of the crop from each pod steps up to face off in an on-the-spot showdown with a brand new challenge. And trust us, competing in a Blox-Off is no walk in the entrepreneurial park. You'll see contestants pushed to their limits as they fight for the big win. When the dust settles and scores are in, the top three highest-scoring Bloxers are revealed. They score the red Blox jerseys, a true sign of their awesomeness, and an indicator to all other contestants of who to look out for. E8And the Winner IsThe big finale is upon us - the last Blox-Off where the season's winners will be revealed. As with every season, there are a few ways for the Bloxers to claim victory. Based on the scores from the whole week, three contestants will tie as runner-ups, and another trio will share the top spot, clinching first place. The spotlight also shines on 4 companies snagging the titles of "Most Investable Company" (x2) and "Most Valuable Company" (x2). "Most Investable" is for the company that's likely to draw in investments and make a splash with venture capitalists. On the other side, "Most Valuable" honors companies that might not be instantly ready for investment but rock their industries with revenue, traction, and other important stuff. After the winners are crowned, we say goodbye to another season of entrepreneurial growth and pretty soon, we'll be saying hello to a whole new crop of contestants in Season 8. Stay tuned.
