Hello and welcome to The Blox, the ultimate live-in showdown for startups, where a community of entrepreneurs and business owners just like you come together to make a splash. If you're new to this scene, don't worry, we've taken the complex and transformed it into simple "blocks," no pun intended (okay fine - pun intended!). Envision a fusion of fierce competition, an intensive business boot camp, elements of reality TV, and an abundance of entertainment. In this season, we've assembled over 70 businesses in the heart of Kansas City, for a grueling 5-day examination of their expertise, intellect, and unwavering determination to make their startups thrive. Every morning starts with an enlightening and information-packed entrepreneurship class, and if you're here, you have the privilege of learning alongside our contestants. Following each lesson, the real challenge takes center stage as the contestants are presented with the day's task, a practical application of the knowledge they've acquired, tailored to their own businesses. Our Bloxers are divided into seven distinct pods, and within these pods, they pitch their application of the day's challenges to a panel of judges. The contestants are meticulously assessed, and the top-scoring Bloxer from each pod earns the coveted opportunity to face off in the evening's grand spectacle, the Blox-Off (more on that later). After the initial pitches, you have a unique glimpse behind the scenes, witnessing the exchange of ideas and insights during consultations with the judges.
