Meanwhile not far from Forrester Creations at Il Giardino, Sheila receives laurels for her first week as a waitress from the restaurant manager when she spots Katie and Wyatt. Intrigued to see the unlikely couple sharing a kiss, Sheila decides to use this little piece of information for her advantage. Eric promotes his gardener, Mateo, to the post of estate manager after the young man has delivered excellent work. Later, Eric is taken aback to find Sheila at his door who informs him that she saw Katie and Quinn's son kissing. On her way out, Sheila then walks in on the handsome new estate manager. Wyatt and Katie are smooching at her house when a nosy Eric stops by for a visit.
