Late in the evening, someone shoots a street flower seller. Abashev, who happens to be nearby, tries to apprehend the killer. They shoot at Abashev from the darkness, he shoots back and wounds a young guy who does not have a pistol with him, as well as cartridges at the crime scene. Abashev is suspended from work and wants to be taken into custody.
