Seven teenaged boys in 1870s New Mexico Territory fight off teenaged Comanches and grownup cattle rustlers under the tutelage of ranch foreman Nightlinger and rancher/widow Annie Andersen.

But they would rather stay on at the ranch. The widow decides to think it over. The man who was hired to be the cook on the drive takes away their guns which they used on the men who killed the rancher. Later some men show up and demand the money the boys brought back, they take one of them hostage. The others wonder what are they going to do without guns but that's when one of them remembers the story of David and Goliath decides to follow suit

Although she has. been jailed on the testimony of her alleged victims, two of Spanlsh Wells' leading citizens, the youths set out to prove her innocence.
