Craig Ferguson hosts this 6 part TV series, focusing on historical sites throughout Scotland. He interviews Archeologists, Language experts, Scientists, Museum Curators and more, to "dig deep" into the past. Each episode focuses on a specific area or group of people, from the Cluniac Monks, the Picts and the Roman settlers, to the Isle of the Dead and the abandoned town of South Cobbinshaw.
